I’m a developer, founder, and creative technologist based in Austin, Texas, currently building digital products for the State of Texas that serve the public at scale. I’m also the creator of A11yJobs.com, a job board dedicated to digital accessibility and inclusive design.
Over 15+ years, I’ve learned that building meaningful software is more than writing code. It’s knowing how to decompose complex problems, design systems that can evolve over time, and execute ideas all the way from concept to a product people actually use.
My work sits at the intersection of engineering, product thinking, and design. I enjoy shaping both the technical foundation and the user experience — from architecture and performance to usability, accessibility, and the small interaction details that make software feel intuitive and dependable.
As a founder and independent builder, I’m especially drawn to creating products from the ground up: identifying opportunities, designing workflows, refining ideas through iteration, and turning abstract concepts into real-world tools. I like the balance between creativity and systems thinking — the experimentation, the judgment calls, the problem-solving, and the constant process of improving how something works.
Much of my work focuses on accessibility, maintainability, and long-term usability. I care about building software that is not only functional, but inclusive, resilient, and thoughtfully designed for the people who rely on it every day.
